New York has been called the most exciting city in the world and even though lovely, blonde thirty two year old Susan Fitzgerald had lived in the town all her life, she never really understood the meaning of those words. Not until tonight, that is. Ray, her red-headed husband had really shown her a good time, one the likes of which she couldn't remember since the early days of their marriage. Not that their marriage had been dull by any means, but tonight was something special. She could tell her husband was buttering her up for some reason, but she also knew that he would get around to telling her what it was he wanted, and thinking about it all evening wasn't going to get her anywhere.

When Ray had called her in the middle of the afternoon to tell her that he had made reservations in the most expensive French restaurant she could think of, she ran through her mind trying to think of why he could be doing something like that, she knew it would be impossible.
